How To 'ASK A QUESTION' on the Glacier or Other TA Forums.Right now, except for the rain and low overcast at times, it is very beautiful in all the accessible areas of the park. One year they opened and several cars were trapped between two huge rocks which fell on either side of a line of cars. The problem for us here who have gone into the park already is that we also cannot drive beyond the barriers to see what is actually happening up there in regards to the big drift and the rock fall which occurs all along the Alpine section at times. Springtime in the Rockies is unpredictable and from now forward weather plays a part. Still hoping to see it open before or near the first week of July. They also have to deal with winter's freeze/thaw and rain-loosened rock fall and other debris on the road before they deem it safe to drive. The only time we had somewhat of an idea ahead of time was when the big GTTS road construction project was on-going, and then they gave us 'the earliest possible date'.
